Building Bright Futures

The goal of the Second Step curriculum is to equip students with the social and emotional skills necessary for success both inside and outside the classroom. By focusing on these aspects of development, we aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters not only academic growth but also personal and social growth.

PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports. It is an evidence-based framework used by schools to improve school culture and student behavior, promoting a safe environment for learning. PBIS is based on several decades of research by major universities across the country. A key aspect of PBIS is focusing on more positive behaviors and less on negative behaviors.

PAWS

Welcome to the PAWS Program – Prevention, Awareness, Wisdom, Strength! This student-centered initiative is dedicated to fostering a safe and supportive environment where young minds can thrive. Through engaging activities and discussions, PAWS aims to promote prevention awareness, cultivate wisdom, and empower students with the strength to make positive choices.
