New Temple Elementary

Valle Lindo School District

“Intelligence plus character, that is the true goal of education.”

Martin Luther King, Jr.

Welcome to New Temple Elementary!

Our school is a place where students are at the core of everything that we do. Each and every day, our young scholars are given the tools to be successful 21st century learners. At New Temple, all of our students are valued and diversity is celebrated. We understand that each child has unique strengths. It is our goal to maximize each students’ strengths and foster the necessary support for their continued development. Through patience and understanding, we believe our students will succeed as students, citizens, and leaders.

As educators, we develop meaningful relationships with each one of our students and use those relationships to meet the unique needs of every child. Every staff member is committed to helping our students succeed and reach their maximum potential.

It is my honor and privilege to be the Principal of such an amazing school community.

Exceptional Needs

We are proud and honored to partner with our families of students with exceptional needs. By creating a learning environment that is warm, collaborative, and inclusive we provide our students with the best opportunity to achieve their maximum potential. Our students with exceptional needs are a vital part of our school community. The vision is for our students to grow, knowing the power of their voices and their abilities as they encounter an ever-changing world. Inclusion is the foundation of our team’s mission and it defines each and everything we do. This central goal is paramount— and it is at the heart of the community we foster at Valle Lindo School District. When it comes to our students with disabilities, we don’t see their needs as being “special.” Rather, we see their needs are “human” — first and foremost. After all, that’s what inclusion is all about.

Student Enrichment

It is our goal to provide students with enrichment opportunities to help foster their well-rounded growth. Students are able to participate in enrichment programs such as STEM, Science Olympiad, Art, Band, Dance, and more. We believe our students are so much more than scholars in the classroom!
